Brown Lindquist Fenuccio & Raber Architects Welcomes Giardi
HYANNIS (January 31, 2013) - Brown Lindquist Fenuccio & Raber Architects is pleased to announce that Kathryn Giardi, LEED A.P. has recently joined their staff as a Project Architect/Project Manager.
Giardi has more than eight years of experience working as an Architectural Designer. She has worked with a variety of building types including multi-unit residential and affordable housing, public safety, laboratory, and commercial projects. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional and was part of the team that earned a LEED Gold certification for the historic renovation of the Global Health & Social Medicine Administration Building at Harvard Medical School.
In her new position, Giardi will be responsible for managing residential and commercial projects, using her LEED expertise on Green building projects, and assisting the firm in its transition to Revit, a three dimensional based architectural design program.
Topping-Out Lakeside Commons
HYANNIS (December 12, 2012) - Construction crews “Topped-Out” the steel structure for the new Lakeside Commons professional office building at 1555 Iyannough Road in Hyannis today with an evergreen tree and American flag that were placed atop the 18,000 sq. ft. structure.
The tradition marks the completion of the first milestone in the building process and dates back to an ancient Scandinavian practice of topping timber structures with a tree.
